OverHead Door Company & The Kiwanis Club of Williamsport hosts the annual 5KRun4Kids.

 

Details of our Event

Date/Time: 6pm - June 6th, 2008
Entry Fees: 
$15 up to May 21st, 2008
$20 on race day
$10 for children under 13 years of age
and
The Kids Fun Run is FREE for all children!

Registration: open 4pm - 5:30pm at the Community Arts Center, West 4th Street

Course: race will begin and end in front of the community arts center.

Kids Fun Run: Every child will receive a medal!
2 races -  age 6 and under &  ages 7 through 11.

Awards:
Runners - top 3 men and women in each age group
Walkers - top 3 men and women

Cash Prizes: $100 top male/female if you break the course record

Post Race:  FREE food, music, and vendors for all participants. This is a First Friday event, so enjoy all the fun downtown...an experience we're sure you'll talk about and remember for a long time.


Our mission is to make this an annual event, an event that brings everyone in our community together to help our children and have fun doing it. Come run, walk, push or pull - this event is for the whole family.

We're encouraging businesses to build a team as well. All participants receive an event t-shirt and a chance to win great prizes. Everyone will enjoy the post-race food, refreshments, music and venders in additions to a great night.

Team Competition

• Kiwanis Cup - Awarded to the team who gathered the largest amount of pledges
   

• The Mayors Cup - Awarded to the team with the largest number of members
   

• Chief of Police Challenge - Trophy awarded to the fastest 3 person running team. (Law Enforcement, EMT, Fire, and Military.  Teams must be co-ed)
